Denied. As you've only been around today, I seriously doubt that you have the requisite policy knowledge and community trust required of bot operators, especially for a task as high-profile as vandalism-reversion. Also, we already have User:ClueBot reverting vandalism, and lots of users using tools such as Huggle. Richard ⁰⁶¹² 14:31, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For a user who only created an account less than an hour before requesting the bot, I would like to know more about previous edits under other user IDs or IP, so that we determine whether or not this request should be contemplated. Ii may be that this user has been previously blocked (i.e for Sockpuppetry or vandalism). --Stewart^{(talk | edits)} 16:39, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
