I haven't even read the book.     Hi, @Southdevonian Since you have an interest, your "oppose" isn't really in order. However, the article as it stands, and as it was created, contains many petty details which are mainly poorly sourced. The sources are not of themselves formally deprecated at Wiki but that list is not intended as exhaustive. A puff interview in Tatler in which the interviewee ('at home' style but sitting in a room which does not appear to be his own) references a pet is an example. I don't wish to haggle about why the article is so weak; it's simply obvious that it is. If it's marked for improvement people are more likely to come in and improve it. That all. Since the original nomination, the pageviews have jumped from an average of 300 daily views or so, up to a 18228 daily average (which is only going to keep climbing, views have been increasing nearly 10k per day up to a peak of yesterday at 100k views). The page is plenty long, has no tags, and the creator is present on Wikipedia, actively working on making the article better (along with the other 46 users listed as "recent distinct authors"). By the time this page gets hypothetically selected to be the Article for Improvement in a couple years' time, the current event surrounding this subject will have passed, and this article will surely be in a vastly different state compared to right now, if the heaps of editing activity continues on for another week or three. Tl;dr, AFI does not seem to be needed, as the author is clearly willing to actively improve the page, and I'm not sure what AFI is going to be able to do that isn't already occurring as we speak.
