I'm thinking this could be a useful and interesting list for the encyclopedia to have. I added a few references for some of the words listed. Anyone know of any sources that list all of these or talk about them in detail? Dream Focus 07:18, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

There seems to be enough evidence to show the notability of this bicycle company. Lightburst (talk) 14:10, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

The Benno Bike newspaper clip board settles this. Those folks didn't bother to look very hard (or at least not thoroughly) for the sources that establish notability. Come on in and add to the article. Lots of material and citations. Contributors to the article will be included in the impending DYK nomination. 7&6=thirteen () 18:04, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Benno Bikes

On 4 May 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Benno Bikes, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Benno Bikes manufactures an e-bike designed to carry cargo? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Benno Bikes. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Benno Bikes), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I've added some sources. More are out there. Important literary device. Important list for some of our readers. 7&6=thirteen () 12:00, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

Kept Closed as "no consensus." Per the closer: The result was no consensus. Given that the first AfD was 12 years ago (a lot has changed about our view of notability since then) and the second one had far smaller participation than this one, I didn't give much weight to, "we've already kept this twice" arguments. But, even with that, I still can't quite get to a consensus for deletion. Basically, the delete side is saying this is poorly sourced trivia/cruft, and the keep side says this is a useful navigation aide and the sourcing is sufficient to meet WP:NLIST. Some people suggested a merge, but others argued that you can't merge unsourced material. 7&6=thirteen () 18:49, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

  • Lebanese short film about a 70 year old woman who chases her dream to become an actress. The film won some awards in film Festivals. Sources seem hard to come by, and the nomination points to another film by the same director (Elie Fahed) which was deleted after virtually no AfD participation. "This is democracy manifist!"

I came across this one during my Deletion sorting activities. I was able to immediately find an article with non-trivial coverage. I wonder if the oldest and largest toy store in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania can be saved by our efforts. Lightburst (talk) 02:52, 4 March 2020 (UTC)

I was able to add some RS to this article. Building out and preserving history in articles makes me happy; and I also feel a bit of sadness. Laid out before me is a person's whole life. Or in this case the story of a toy store's survival in spite of big-box retailers and internet toy companies. There is more to be found, but the article has a good start. FYI the founder Jack Cohen may also be notable enough for an article. (maybe). Cheers Lightburst (talk) 22:14, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
I added a number of books. Otherwise, have not yet done an internet search. Seems to be a question of WP:GNG, although the deletion proposers didn't say so. They said a "probable sock" was the source of the article – which has nothing to do with the article's merit. 7&6=thirteen () 17:02, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

I believe this article clearly passed notability standards and that there is significant coverage about the subject in notable sources, but the article at the time the AFD began was mostly unsourced plot summary. I've expanded the article slightly but fear time restraints might prevent me from continuing to do so to the point of rescuing it, so I'm listing it here with the hopes that other editors can add sources and expand/improve the article. — Hunter Kahn 14:40, 4 February 2020 (UTC)

EverlyWell (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs|google) AfD discussion

  • Company in it's infancy. Yet they have secured a Shark Tank 1 million dollar deal in 2017, and then went on to secure 50 million more dollars in 2019. They have mail order health testing kits. There seems to be quite a bit of RS is available. The catch: the article was deleted January 2019. Now that it has been recreated, all previous !voters were pinged and there may be a cascade of reflexive delete !votes. Lightburst (talk) 19:00, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
On second thought it feels rigged. The nominator is the one that pinged all of the editors from an AfD that concluded a full year ago. I have never seen that done. Since it was a strong overwhelming delete a year ago, this feels like a canvas. Lightburst (talk) 19:11, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
