Vinodol (Hungarian: Nyitraszőlős) is a village and municipality in the Nitra District in western central Slovakia, in the Nitra Region. It is mostly agricultural settlement.

editIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113 .
Geography
editThe village lies at an altitude of 124 metres (407 ft) and covers an area of 14.982 km2 (5.785 sq mi). It has a population of about 1888 people.
Ethnicity
editThe population is about 93% Slovak, 4% Magyar and 2% Romani.
