Valieasr (Persian: وليعصر)[a] is a village in Jayedar-e Jonubi Rural District of Bala Geriveh District, Pol-e Dokhtar County, Lorestan province, Iran, serving as capital of the district.[4] It was previously the capital of Jayedar Rural District[5][b] of the Central District. The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Sarab Hammam[6] (now a city).[7] The capital of the rural district was transferred to the village of Rahimabad in April 2023.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,065 in 220 households, when it was in Jayedar Rural District of the Central District.[8] The following census in 2011 counted 430 people in 110 households.[9] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 975 people in 276 households.[2]

In April 2023, Jelogir Rural District and some villages were separated from the district in the formation of Bala Geriveh District, and Valieasr was transferred to Jayedar-e Jonubi Rural District created in the new district.[4]
