Warning

edit

Do not move the pages unless a reason is given. Jerzy Franciszek Kulczycki is the preferred name and spelling in many languages and needs no moving. The changes may be considered as vandalism. Oliszydlowski (talk) 23:02, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

June 2022

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article. I appreciate and understand the issue regarding Ukrainian names and their Russian spellings, but you simply cannot go around changing spellings at will, and especially cannot edit war about it. Your entire editing history seems to focus on this, which is likely to result in you being blocked if it continues. You need to understand it's not clear cut, and that despite everything, some professionals use the Russian spelling publicly and professionally. -- ferret (talk) 13:41, 28 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

You change Ukrainian names at your own discretion, without following the rules of transliteration, and blame me for it?--Zubryckiy (talk) 09:28, 5 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
And you just don't understand that everything is exactly clear. They are citizens of Ukraine, and Dmitriy, Vladislav, Vladimir, Pyotr cannot be written in her passport but only Dmytro, Vladyslav, Volodymyr, Petro.--Zubryckiy (talk) 09:34, 5 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
How many contributors have you blocked for the toponym Kyiv? And what did it get you? --Zubryckiy (talk) 12:47, 21 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
And I will make sure the next block is long. Most of your edits are not good, I have already blocked you once, but you do not seem to be interested complying with the policies and continue pushing POV. Ymblanter (talk) 18:44, 28 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

"Following this finding of fact in the arbitration case (unrelated to me) I have stopped all administrator activity in the areas I edit — everything related to the countries of the former Soviet Union, to rail transport, and to the Olympics. I may occasionally make fully uncontroversial actions, such as blocks for and protections against obvious vandalism and obvious BLP violations." :)

Discretionary sanctions alert

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
