2009 Sayano-Shushenskaya hydro accident edit

Hello, could you please direct me to the specific page of the source (or give the quote) that corroborates that "the steel gates to the water intake pipes of turbines, weighing 150 tons each, were closed manually by opening of valves of hydraulic jacks keeping them up"? I would like to know more about this. Thank you. --Jvs.cz (talk) 17:24, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Lada Samara, thanks! edit

Hello Zosma and thanks for your qualified work on the Lada Samara page. One minor hint: When you make a change, use the "show preview" button instead of "save page", and that way everyone cannot see your intermediate versions until you're done. Not only does it make you look very professional but there will also be fewer edits for others to review. All the best, and welcome. Also: you wouldn't be able to take a picture of a EuroSamara/Samara Baltic would you? I hear most of them were reimported to Russia and the Baltic states.  ⊂ Mr.choppers ⊃  (talk) 20:27, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Shozhma River edit

Thank you for the last edit in the article. However, I do not quite get the meaning of it [1]. What I wanted to write in the article was that there are two villages on the Shozhma River, one is Shozhma in the upper course, and another one is Kondratovskaya in the middle course. This is what the maps show. I am not aware of the fact that Kondratovskaya has another name (and that this name is Shozhma), nor that it does not exist anymore. Could you please explain. Thanks in advance.--Ymblanter (talk) 07:17, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Kondraovskaya is "half name" of Derevnja Shozhma (was devided to two parts: Kondraovskaya which was on the left shore of the river and Demidovskaya was on the rigth shore of Shozhma river), and this village is described with more detail in article Shozhma. Today, there is nothing, may be some ruins of buildings, remained from Kondratovskaja which historical name is Derevnja ShozhmaZosma (talk) 15:52, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
