Communication edit

Hi, I see that you make extensive use of the edit summary feature, which is mostly a good thing, but you have made virtually no talk page comments since you joined WP. Engagement is important. For example, you currently have an issue with List of biggest box-office bombs. It would be preferable, and likely productive, if you started a thread on that article's talk page to discuss your issue. You can propose the changes you wish to made, along with your reasons and sourcing in support of doing so. This is especially important to do once you've been reverted, due to the WP:BRD editing policy. Thank you for your cooperation. - wolf 05:41, 11 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

January 2021 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at List of biggest box-office bombs. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. - wolf 06:14, 11 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at List of biggest box-office bombs edit

Hello Zomgrose. You've been warned for edit warring on this article. You are risking a block if you revert again before getting a consensus in your favor on the talk page. It has been noted that you don't make use of talk pages. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 02:52, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

My List of Box Office Bombs Edit edit

I made the changes because it was a contradiction as to why Waterworld got a pass. I also considered removing Tenet as well. The New Mutants is also not considered a bomb? Zomgrose (talk) 03:13, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

It's fine for you to make these arguments on the talk page. Then wait and see if others agree with you. EdJohnston (talk) 03:14, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
