Great to see you here! Our coverage on Africa is... spotty at times, so having more editors interested in that geographical area helps counter our systemic bias.

That said, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Everything written here must be verifiable. We don't allow original research or commentary. We just reprint what other reliable sources have already written. "based on my own experiences, observations" is not really appropriate for this project, but I hope that doesn't discourage you from contributing!

As for the images you uploaded, Wikipedia takes copyrights seriously. You need to go to

• Image:DRY RIVER BED, FLT KHARTOUM TO KASSALA.JPG
• Image:KASSALA, NORTHERN OUTSKIRTS FROM THE AIR.JPG
• Image:KASSALA, TOWN FROM THE AIR.JPG

and add an image license to your photographs. There are several licenses available. If I could choose for you, I'd go with

{{self |cc-by-sa-3.0| GFDL}}

but since they're your photographs, it's really up to you to choose under what terms people may use them. After you've chosen a license, just paste the template into each image page.

After you've cleared up the licensing issue, it would be great if you could insert those images into the Kassala article!
