Edit summaries edit
Thanks for your edits. This may seem picky, but it is considered polite, some wikipedians say essential, to include edit summaries when editing Wikipedia articles. This is true whether adding content, correcting a typo, or suggesting a merger. As the Help page says: "An edit summary should strive to answer the question, "Why did you make this edit?". Providing an edit summary, even if the edit is minor, makes Wikipedia work better by quickly explaining to other users what your change was about." See Help:Edit summary.
