I have written about why I deleted the copyrighted material on the article talk page. The material from the Washington University is copyrighted, it says so on the bottom of the website. No material is lost on Wikipedia, you can click on "Permanent link" and then go through all revisions of an article. However, don't readd copyrighted material.
