Alpine A470 edit

Hello Zenzz, I've noticed that you recently changed the name of the car used by the Alpine LMP2 team in the 2023 World Endurance Championship from the Oreca 07 to the Alpine A470. This is not correct information. If you check the official entrylists released by the ACO and the FIA you will see that this car is called the Oreca 07.

The reason why it's called the Oreca 07 this year is because the rules no longer allow the car to be rebranded to an Alpine. Just thought I'd clear that up to prevent any potential edit warring from taking place Robin tales fighter (talk) 16:48, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

The FIA does not allow the LMP2 cars to be rebranded anymore, Alpine's LMP2 car is not listed as an Alpine in any documentation from the FIA, ACO, or the FIA WEC, all are listed as Oreca 07s. Stop incorrectly altering the information, you will be reverted. The359 (Talk) 16:58, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
