Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Sogyal Rinpoche, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You can't use sources of that type. Do have a look at WP:RS. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 07:46, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Sogyal Rinpoche shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Please stop

edit

If you persist in adding text sourced to blogs, you will soon end up blocked from editing. See WP:RS -- your use of those blogs will not be allowed here. If you'd like to discuss it, please do so on the article talk page. If you simply keep repeating the same edits, you'll be blocked. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 07:14, 22 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sogyal Rinpoche

edit

Since Sogyal Rinpoche is the only article you have edited, I am not clear on how familiar you are with Wikipedia. I encourage and invite you to discuss the changes you would like to make to the article on its Talk Page. I also encourage you to read this article explaining why blogs (such as Wordpress) and especially comments made in blogs, are usually not suitable for use as a source in Wikipedia articles. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 07:54, 11 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Sogyal Rinpoche. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. If you have any changes to be made to Sogyal Rinpoche, plesae discuss them on the talk page instead of revert warring. This block is not meant as punishment, rather just to get your attention for a moment: removing the content by force will not succeed in the end. Please discuss any problems you have, like I said, on the talk page. Thanks! Magog the Ogre (talk) 03:58, 12 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sogyal Rinpoche Edits

edit

I appreciate your efforts to see the Sogyal Rinpoche article more fairly represent the sexual misconduct allegations. What we need is reliable sources that have some sort of editorial oversight. Repeatedly deleting sections you feel are misrepresenting the truth is not the way to go about this. Simply put, you will be blocked again if you keep this up. Please bring your concerns to Talk:Sogyal Rinpoche, and we will try and figure this out together. Grayfell (talk) 19:27, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
