Wikipedia is not a web host for holding personal web pages unrelated to work on building the encyclopaedia. You are, of course, welcome to make contributions to the encyclopaedia, in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, but if you wish to write a personal web page, then there are many web sites which provide that sort of service, but Wikipedia is not one of them. I'm sorry, but a page you created User:Zarana Mehta (Architectural & Interior Designer ) has been deleted as meeting one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources which are unconnected with the subject and which provide verifiable information. Also, encyclopedia articles must be neutral in tone and not use language that promotes or advocates for a subject, or tries to cast the subject in a favorable light. Please see Information on content and common pitfalls to avoid here and here. Sometimes creators of promotional/advocational content are bewildered that it is considered such. If one has been trained to write such content, or if one has spent some time writing such content, one may simply be blind to non-neutral phrases or styles.
A common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. Anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Persistent posters of promotional content may be blocked from editing.
CV's/resumé's are by their nature promotional. Writing about oneself or any connected subject is discouraged as the connection can make objectivity difficult. Information on avoiding advocational content and common pitfalls is here and here, however be aware that these are not exhaustive.

@Jimfbleak: I don't understand that. To me, the username strongly suggests that the account represents one person, whose name is Zarana Mehta, and who is an architectural & interior designer. - While I agree that the reason given mismatches with the user name, the block could be per the spirit of WP:PROMONAME:
they are inappropriate if their primary purpose is to advertise, promote, sell, gain support, or increase the attention or user-base audience of any person, company, market, product, channel, website, or other good or service.

I also agree that the username does not comply with the username policy. - Thanks, @Jay and JBW:, perhaps I could have phrased the soft block reason better. Zarana Mehta, the problem isn't your name as such, but the fact that you have added your occupation to it, which looks like promoting your business to me. Your edits were to write about yourself as if this was social media rather than an encyclopaedia, but you didn't appear to be promting a business there, so I considered a name change to be more appropriate than a hard block. - This appears to be an architecture student who is being a little self-promotional - there isn't a business yet. I think my main concern is simply that they're promoting themself more than a username, but the result amounts to much the same thing. See my note farther up the page concerning autobiographies. Her zeal is commendable, but misplaced. Most architects hate doing marketing (I certainly do), so someone who is good at it should have a bright future. But not on WIkipedia.
