Hello, Zak. Wikipedia isn't a memorial or a way of honouring a given person, even if they created something significant to you personally. There needs to be some assertion of historical notability/significance. Cushman School would have been notable enough to make the cut, but notability is not inherited. Sources must also be written by a neutral third party - with editorial oversight - and interviews conducted by yourself are not reliable enough to count towards referencing an article on a particular subject. Perhaps a short biography of Cushman would be better added to the existing article (which also needs a lot more third-party sources, as it reads as if it's a promotional text rather than a properly encyclopaedic article). ArbCom 2017 election voter message

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process.
