Sockpuppetry case edit

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Adrianfeane for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. 9Nak (talk) 19:32, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Blanking your user page edit

If you wish to blank your user page, please log in before doing so. Blanking the page as IP address 83.71.213.165 will see your changes reverted by other editors as a courtesy, on the assumption that the blanking is vandalism by another party. 9Nak (talk) 11:42, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD blanking edit

Please do not blank Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr. Patrick Treacy without established community consensus. I, for one, do not believe the page should be blanked and I have reverted your edit. If you wish to make an argument for blanking, you can do so at the talk page. 9Nak (talk) 13:19, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Response to your comment on the (now blanked) Afd discussion page edit

Several editors, including myself, worked on the page in order to improve it and bring it in line with Wikipedia policy. If you had required further help or guidance you could have asked for it, at any time. Instead (I believe – the matter is undecided, though you have not yet contested the allegation) you chose to engage in extensive sockpuppetry and/or meatpuppetry (as described at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Adrianfeane) in order to turn the page into an advertisement that would improve the search engine ranking of a client of Digino Marketing. Had you acted in good faith you would have found the Wikipedia welcoming, friendly and supportive. To ask for such treatment while engaging in spamming is, however, a little rich. If you wish to engage with Wikipedia honestly, please carefully read Wikipedia:Search engine optimization first. Then feel free to ask for any help you require via my talk page. I – and literally thousands of other editors – would be glad to assist. 9Nak (talk) 14:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank You edit

Thank you for your offer of help. If I ever choose to write another article on here again, I will definitely avail of your assistance.

Those links I promised edit

Do try your hand at another article. It's fun, and fulfilling, and you really will find the community supportive. As long as you stick to the rules.

  • Stay well clear of any subject that presents a conflict of interest. Clients of your employer, for instance.
  • Stick to one account. Sockpuppetry is rather incompatible with good faith editing.
  • Accept that Wikipedia is a communal effort. Others will edit your work, you do not own it. Those edits will almost always be improvements; this is what makes Wikipedia great.
  • Be bold in editing, but accept consensus decisions.

Here are some pages I strongly suggest you look at before creating another article:

Again, let me know if you need any help. If I'm not around there are also many thousands of other editors who would be glad to assist. 9Nak (talk) 15:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
