 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

edit

Hello, I'm Iamjakey17. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2022 Swiss Open have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thank you. --Iamjakey17 (talk) 15:32, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

For your information, the players full name must be written in the finals draw while only the last name will be written in other draw (R1, R2 and QF) Iamjakey17 (talk) 15:32, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

BLP articles

edit

Hi YuvrajSportsDeewana.. i see your contribution in Srikanth Kidambi article. And, based on Wikipedia rules in biographies of living persons (Read: WP:BLP), All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. And here are some suggestions per your revision:

  • please adding sources as soon as ppssible to every contribution that you have made, before it was removed from Wikipedia
  • after comma (,) don't use capital letter for "He" in ...at the Swiss Open, He beat...; also don't capitalized Quater-finals
  • use dash (–) not minus (-) in score
  • you linked Jonatan Christie to a wrong target (Jonathan Christie).

I hope my suggestions is useful for you. Thank you Stvbastian (talk) 16:37, 27 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

thanks for your suggestions YuvrajSportsDeewana (talk) 16:43, 27 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rohan Bopanna, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Sanger. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 10 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

India at the 2022 World Championships in Athletics moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, India at the 2022 World Championships in Athletics, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~StyyxTalk? 21:48, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

edit

Hello, YuvrajSportsDeewana. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "India at the 2022 World Championships in Athletics".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
