Note that a lot of languages use small letter at the beginning of the month name. I corrected that for Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian; but I am almost sure Russian, Bulgarian, Slovenian etc. use small letter at the beginning of the words. --millosh (talk (sr:)) 00:45, 25 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Unfortunatelly mediawiki automatically converts first letter to uppercase, thus the confusion. Please note that the month names are also used in day of the month and month of the year patterns. --Yurik 00:58, 25 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In Japanese, every month has traditional name, sometimes uses as a alternate month's name.

  • Jan.(ja:1月=Ichigatsu) "睦月 Mutsuki"
  • Feb.(ja:2月=Nigatsu) "如月 Kisaragi"
  • Mar.(ja:3月=Sangatsu) "弥生 Yayoi"
  • Apr.(ja:4月=Shigatsu) "卯月 Uzuki"
  • May.(ja:5月=Gogatsu) "皐月 Satsuki"
  • Jun.(ja:6月=Rokugatsu) "水無月 Minazuki"
  • Jul.(ja:7月=Shichigatsu) "文月 Fuzuki (or Fumizuki)"
  • Aug.(ja:8月=Hachigatsu) "葉月 Hazuki"
  • Sep.(ja:9月=Kugatsu) "長月 Nagatsuki (or Nagazuki)"
  • Oct.(ja:10月=Jūgatsu) "神無月 Kan'nazuki (or Kaminashizuki)"
  • Nov.(ja:11月=Jūichigatsu) "霜月 Shimotsuki"
  • Dec.(ja:12月=Jūnigatsu) "師走 Shiwasu" - uses especially.

Are these names reflected in the wiki? I am only interested in the article names - unless such month names are used as part of day of the month/month of the year/other page names. Thanks! --Yurik 23:31, 26 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Each traditional name are redirect to corresponding month (for example, "ja:文月" -> redirect "ja:7月"). Except Mar("ja:弥生"), May("ja:皐月"), Aug("ja:葉月") are disambiguation page 'cause exist homonym. up to reference... Diagraph01 18:21, 27 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
