Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page China Eastern Airlines Flight 586 has been reverted.
Your edit here to China Eastern Airlines Flight 586 was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1qkTLj73YQ) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Wikilove isn't really the general way of communicating, it's only used to award someone something, wish them a merry Christmas, etc. You could try Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation for more help regarding Flight 586. Buggie111 (talk) 21:38, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

China Eastern Airlines Flight 586

edit

Hello, welcome to wikipedia, unfortunately I had to nominate this article for deletion. There is nothing wrong with writing articles, but for them to stay in the main-space they must pass certain tests. The criteria for aircraft accidents is laid down at WP:Aircrash, if you can convince other people with your article that the criteria are met, then the article can stay in main-space. There are very good reasons for this - Wikipedia does not want or have the space to store information on all the minor mishaps that occur every day and articles generally have to be able to give something to the reader. Carry on writing, save articles to your user space and find guidelines for the particular topic you have written about. You could also find a similar article and ask the author to give advice on the article before saving to main-space. Any way, Happy New Year, and keep writing.Petebutt (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

OMT and Aircraft

edit

In noticed you have an interest in aircraft in addition to the battleships, and that you and Buggie seems to be on good terms. I feel bad that your most recent article was deleted, but I thought I might suggest combining your interest in battleships and aircraft and sorking with us over at Majestic Titan to improve the spotter aircraft we will need to cover in time. At the moment the planes and drones are sitting in an inactive phase, but as the material is within our area of coverage it would allow you to help us while at the same time satisfying your criteria to work on planes and as an added bones would allow you to lean on Buggie for help and advice if you need it. Its just a suggestion, but I thought I would bring it to your attention in case you were by chance interested in the idea. TomStar81 (Talk) 09:50, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
