Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alwyn Uytingco, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page StarStruck. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Pope Francis

I was always under the impression that as a South American and a Jesuit, he took his name from St. Francis Xavier, and not from St. Francis of Assisi. Apparently many sources name Francis of Assisi, so I will not be challenging your revert. Gerard von Hebel (talk) 19:13, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

I was hoping you'd revert this edit. WP:redlinks are good and help the encyclopedia grow as the designate where new articles should be started. Please don't remove them. Also, I don't think it's appropriate to mark the edit as wp:minor either, for what it's worth. Would you please put the redlinks back? Thanks! Citation needed

Hi. I had to restore the uncited "Unlike most Philippine politicians," in the end, becuase otherwise it makes little sense to mention it there in the article. I realise this may be an obvious fact to you, but I am unable to ascertain whether you are right that it is obvious. Even if several editors confirmed its obvioussness, that could be a result of statistical bias, so a reference is really required. However it does not need to be removed on BLP grounds, at least how I have currently worded it (because the uncited material is not referring to him personally). Cheers zzz (talk) 09:04, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

@Signedzzz Okay, I'm able to cherry pick some sources — Senator Manny Pacquiao, although not a Catholic but a born-again Christian, has stated oppositions against contraception and gay rights; former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo voiced her opposition to the Philippines' Reproductive Health Law as well as use of birth control, and she's a devout Catholic. (She also abolished the death penalty while she's president); former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile has condemned RH Law as well as incumbent Senator Tito Sotto, see here. That's about everything I could look for. Are these enough?Jebbiex talk 10:26, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that would support "Unlike most many Philippine politicians", I think. zzz (talk) 10:42, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
Very well, adding.Jebbiex talk 10:44, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
Or, "Unlike many prominent Philippine politicians" zzz (talk) 10:54, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
The "unlike many traditional politicians" is actually more accurate since the church is what we would call "conservative" given the social teachings of the church on divisive issues(e.g, opposition to birth control, homosexual marriage, abortion). So I'd go with, "unlike many traditional Philippine politicians". Thoughts?Jebbiex talk 11:04, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
"Conservative", yes, but "traditional" is not a commonly understood political epithet. So how about "Unlike many prominent conservative politicians" ? zzz (talk) 11:14, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
Alright, "Unlike many prominent conservative politicians" will suffice.Jebbiex talk 11:18, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

WP:ANI

Hi. Saw your report at ANI and would like to add my 2 cents. I have people constantly reviewing my edit history and Talk page too. No big deal. Those things happen, there's nothing creepy about it. There's no such thing as privacy on Wikipedia. It's a shame you two had a conflict earlier but to say you are being stalked because you've been thanked(!) twice in two weeks... It might be difficult given your history with Ajax but I still would like to suggest to assume good faith. Thanks, Yintan  14:18, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

James Gunn

Sounds like it's worth adding the "former Catholic" line, since the link appears live and, happily, you have a time stamp. I personally think it's pertinent for the "Personal life" section since he talked about it publicly. Don't forget to add an archive link! -- Tenebrae (talk) 18:30, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Repetition

I'm curious why you added a sentence that repeats what is already stated in the next sentence? (The sentence discussed here on your talk page, above) zzz (talk) 05:39, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Religion

For Matteo Renzi religion is relevant since he has overtly expressed he's Catholic and his political formation has been influenced by Catholic figures such as don Giulio Facibeni, but also Christian politicians such as Alcide De Gasperi and Aldo Moro. A lot of former communists in the Democratic party hate him because of his Catholic background.--Carnby (talk) 12:50, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi there! :)

  Hi there! :)
Hi there! :) thanks for also contributing on Janella Salvador Wikipedia page but below is not correct:

In December 2016, Salvador reunited with Richard Yap in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival official entry Mano Po 7: Tsinoy, the seventh film in the Mano Po series.

Mano Po 7 is not included in MMFF this year, so I will do the necessary corrections ok? :)

Seems you are a pro here, can i ask for your help in changing Jea's pic here? Madel SZ (talk) 14:13, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

@Madel SZ - Thanks for the trophy, and for correcting my edit. I totally forgot that it didn't make the MMFF this year. I'm flattered that you called me a pro, but I'd beg to differ; I don't even have a full grasp of Wikipedia's Manual of Style and most of their policies. Most of my experience have been bold editing. Nevertheless, I thank you for that complement.
By the way, with regard to the photo, that's the only one available at Wikipedia Commons, Wikipedia's photo repository. So there's nothing I can do about that. Bluesphere 14:30, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
