Marshes in Portage County edit

Hello, Yogi54481! Thanks for giving us stubs on these Portage County communities that we can build on. I wanted to let you know about a problem with two of them: Buena Vista Marsh and Dewey Marsh, from all the reliable sources that we can find, appear to be swamps rather than communities. As such, User:RFD and I have been and will be reworking them a bit. Do you have any reliable sources to prove that they are actually communities? If so, please tell us, either by posting on my talk page or RFD's talk page. Nyttend (talk) 20:31, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your note! I don't work much with Wisconsin articles; RFD, who left the comment below this one, works much more with them. If you want help, however, I'll see what I can do. The question that we have is not the names of these places (to go by your example, we don't wonder whether Indian Hill, Ohio is really a community or a hill), but that we can't find evidence for them actually being considered communities by reliable sources. Can you find this kind of information? Nyttend (talk) 22:32, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks- edit

Many thanks for starting the Dopp, Wisconsin article. This ties in with the article about Katharine Dopp-RFD (talk) 19:39, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yea, good job with starting all of those articles on small incorporated Wisconsin communities. Feel free to ask me any questions that you might have. I've started lots of articles on unincorporated Wisconsin communities. Royalbroil 05:12, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
