Mandaveli edit

Hi, Thanks for uploading images. I can see you have included picture of Ramakrishna Math in Mandaveli article. Are you sure that the math is located in Mandaveli and not Mylapore. The address in the official website of Ramakrishna Math also says Mylapore --Anbu121 (talk me) 06:06, 16 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Anbu121,

I have added that image according to the information on the page: ""Mandaveli" is located close to the famous locality of Mylapore and to the east of Pattinapakkam or Foreshore estate. It derives its name from a literal translation with reference to the rearing of cows "mandhai" meaning - "herd" and " Veli" which means open space in Tamil. On the west side it is surrounded by Alwarpet. Mandaveli is predominantly a residential area with the main "landmarks" being the Ramakrishna Math(after which the R.K. Mutt Road is named), the 150 year old Kapali talkies, the Airtel regional office of Tamil Nadu, the Ponds regional head office, Hindustan Lever, and others like Greenways road & boat club."

April 2012 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Cricket bat, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Charles (talk) 09:00, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh cool, thank you Charlesdrakew. Thanks a lot for letting me know about the importance of maintenance templates. I took them off because, they gave a messed up look for the page.

I apologise for removing the maintenance template. Shall I re-add the picture to that page I added a few minutes ago?

Thokappia Poonga (Adyar Eco Park) Images edit

Hi Yes.Aravind, Many thanks for the excellent images of the poonga. These could aid in moving the article to the next level (B-class or Good Article; presently, it's a C-class article). However, they do not have descriptive captions. Can you please provide unique captions describing the contents in the images? We could then place the images at appropriate locations within the article, once this is done. Thanks again for the contribution. Rasnaboy (talk) 17:25, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dear Aravind. Have done my best to caption the images and arrange them within the article. Please check and let me know whether they have been placed appropriately and with correct descriptions. Many thanks. (Have replied to your questions in my talk page) :) Rasnaboy (talk) 16:44, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
