May 2012 edit

Your recent editing history at Naruto shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Regarding the Naruto Edit War edit

Hi there, I see that you are new to Wikipedia. Welcome! Joining Wikipedia, like any other society, means that you have to figure out the rules of the trade, as well as some unwritten ones. You seem to have engaged a "Edit War" in the page Naruto. If you feel that your edit is fine, and that the other user is removing or reverting your edits without good reason, reverting his revert is not the correct way to express your view. You should have posted a message to the user in question on his talk page beforehand and have a nice discussion, before you even get warned for Edit Warring. Express your views and opinions, consider the views and opinions of the other user in question and reach a compromise that is mutually agreed. Besides, it is a good habit to step down sometimes, especially when you are in the wrong. Here, I step down with my Vandalism warning given a few days earlier and that edit you made was constructive. Do reach a mutual compromise soon and get this thing over with. Once again, enjoy your stay in Wikipedia, as well as my most sincere apologies!
