Mario cartoon production order edit

Say, can you tell where you found out the production codes of the Mario cartoon episodes? --Nintendo Maximus 21:44, 18 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Okay Nintendo Maximus but this is going to take a while to read, from May this year first I have got the air dates (CN&TNSMW) and production codes (both Mario cartoons) from the U.S. Copyright Office (forgot link to it, was ages ago) which also has the prototype names of some AoSTH episodes, however this info did not say which episodes they were. So my next step was comparision of the episodes, while watching on POP (where all the good downloaded copies are around) the order of the Mario series which is a little jumbled for SMB3 (mixture of aired and production order) and a couple of episodes of SMW, but this showed three things:

1) The Wheel Thing aired before Fire Sale

2) Reptiles in the Rose Garden was the first episode.

3) The Captain N episodes were in production order (had animation cel picture of A Tale of Two Dogs listed as 106[B]) when they were originally aired, they were out of production order on POP.

So my next step was finding Super Mario World tapes (the UK ones, naturally) and they were in production order as it had The Wheel Thing first, just like POP! Rule of thumb - Most DVDs and tapes (bar The Simpsons and some others) in Europe are in production order.

By that I copied down the order of the tapes and moved to Super Mario Bros. 3. Remember King Koopa Katastrophe? Well the infamous European DVDs matched the order given of the U.S. Copyright Office.

Here's an example:

112/117

What two episodes aired with that? So I looked at my DVDs to find 112 by counting the episodes and by luck at the end, 112 was Dadzilla. Now for 117, did same thing and found Tag Team Trouble and in aired order, Dadzilla and Tag Team Trouble aired together. Has for the last ones, I had to look at a German Mario DVD (119 - 124) and for Life's Ruff, the episode that is was paired up (118 Crimes R Us). By elimination (since it wasn't on DVD), The Venice Menace was the last one left.

So it is long and complex and I still don't have them all! The ones that are missing are:

SMW Ghosts R Us

SMW King Scoopa Koopa (POP kept swapping the position of these episodes so it went Ghosts R Us, King Scoopa Koopa and back to Ghosts R Us)

SMW Cave Christmas (one episode was listed as 165 in the list but there wasn't 65 Super Mario World episodes!)

If you want, I could give you the list of episodes.

DuckTales R2 DVDs edit

So only the first 20 episodes are on Vol 1 R2 release? That's kinda lame, even though it probably had to be done for the additional languages. Do you think you could tell me which episode are on which particular discs? That way one of us can update the page with some more R2 info, since it's different from the R1 release.--Narlee 00:58, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Even though I had to return the discs back due to an interlace fault on all three discs, I still remember this from this morning.

Disc 1: (6 episodes)

Send in the Clones

Sphinx of the Memories

Where No Duck has Gone Before

Armstrong

Robot Robbers (still with the dodgy lip sync)

Magica's Shadow War

Disc 2 (7 Episodes)

Master of the Djinni

Hotel Strangeduck

Lost Crown of Genghis Khan

Duckman of Aquatraz

The Money Vanishes

Sir Gyro de Gearloose

Dinosaur Ducks

Disc 3: (7 episodes)

Hero of Hire

Superdoo!

Maid of the Myth

Down and Out in Duckburg

Much Ado About Scrooge

Top Duck

Pearl of Wisdom

This should help. Also the languages are English, French, Spanish (recent dub), German and Italian. Yawachary 21:42, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I updated the DVD page.--Narlee 04:47, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:AoStHtitle.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:AoStHtitle.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 22:06, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Should be fixed but I was unaware of this new policy after being away for a long time. Sorry. Yawachary 22:30, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:SMWEp101.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:SMWEp101.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not.
