Conflict of interest and copyright
editHello, Yash W. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:09, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
How to proceed
editWith regard to the first notice, because you have a connection to the subject of the article, you should refrain from editing any content about her in any article. Use the article talk page to make a suggestion. Support your suggestions by providing reliably published sources that verify the content claims. If you are being paid to represent her, you must per the terms of service clearly state that fact.
Regarding the second notice, if you or she does actually own the copyright for the images, then you / she will need to follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating_copyrighted_materials. Note that the donation is one that will allow anyone to use the image in any manner the wish, as long as they provide a link back to the page where the image is. Also note that just because an image has been donated, that does not mean that the image must be used in the wikipedia article. If the article editors decide that other images are more appropriate for an encyclopedia, those images are the ones that will be used.
just once
editokay let me edit once ... i will take snapshots to show Mishti Mam this... and also will follow wiki rules... will tell mishti mama about this issue with which we both were not known to thank u....
- No. you can look at the page history [1] and click on the date portion to see a view of what the article looked like at that time (less any copyright images that have been deleted). -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:43, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- There are lots of things that are on the web, but that does not mean that they are appropriate for an encyclopedia. Wikipedia covers what reliably published sources have found worthy of covering. We are not a free webhost advertisement to promote what someone posts on their website/facebook page. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 17:08, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Regarding the messages you've been leaving, about "personal discussions with Mishti mam" -- Wikipedia does not allow personal discussions as sources. All new information must be verified by published mainstream academic or journalistic sources. Ian.thomson (talk) 17:37, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
