Peer Review

edit

Hello! I was selected for peer reviewing your assignment on Group 8. Going into this I had no clue what group 8 even was. After reading your edit to Wikipedia I was able to obtain a little more information. Like you, it was very hard to find information on a subject where there is not that much information published. The article was able to provide some information rather than none. However, it would be beneficial to add more on the topic to further expand. One thing I think would be helpful would be to put a link with the word Kvinnobulletinen, by putting Kvinnobulletinen. However, if you tried this and there was no Wikipedia page made, I understand. However, it would be helpful to give a little more information on this. From an outside source I am still confused on what that is exactly. Another thing I would fix are the last two paragraphs. They both sound repetitive with the opening sentence of both being, "grupp 8 was later dissolved". Possibly adding more details as to why this was dissolved could help expand this stub. Other advice I would give for expanding the material would be to go into detail about your sub topics such as Kvinnobulletinen, Women of Labour, and even grupp 8 members. I also noticed that your reference did not seem to show up at the bottom, instead just the number. Although when you click on the number and it brings you to the website, it should show the actual reference. I am not completely sure how you inserted your reference but my suggestion would be to use the handouts we got form class. In the one packet it gives an example of how to do this. To make it easier I went onto easy bib to create my citation (MLA or APA) whichever you prefer. After the sentence you are referencing you write [1] After completing this, the bottom of the page should create a reference page that fully list what it is you are referencing instead of just a number. I really hope this helps! Good work! --MasonnTaylorr2219 (talk) 17:24, 9 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I was selected to do a peer review for your edit. I think you did a good job in adding information to an article that was lacking. I have never heard of Group 8 before and found this article interesting. The wording of the article flowed well. I would suggest combining the last two sentences in the first paragraph to “At most around 30 local units existed and each unit was organizationally independent. The only issue resides within the sources. The one source that was used was not properly sourced at the bottom or the article. I would recommend fixing that. 1. ^ this is where you would put the citation.
