Image copyright problem with Image:Mothdeth.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Mothdeth.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

regarding WarGames (Video Game) edit

There is already an article for this game over at WarGames (game). There is no need to create a duplicate article about it. NeoChaosX (talk, walk) 05:08, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Never mind, they're different games. But if you're going to create an article on a game, at least start it with more than an external link and some categories. NeoChaosX (talk, walk) 05:13, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Emergence: The Music of TNA Wrestling edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Emergence: The Music of TNA Wrestling, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.shipwreckislandstudios.com/?p=1363. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion nomination of Emergence: The Music of TNA Wrestling edit

A tag has been placed on Emergence: The Music of TNA Wrestling requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Eeekster (talk) 04:36, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

January 2010 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Emergence: The Music of TNA Wrestling. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 04:41, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I didnt even realize I removed the tag, I was trying to remove the copy right tag, but I saved it with out noticing there was a new tag added Xyberdawg (talk) 04:52, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:WWE-NXT-LOGO.png) edit

Thanks for uploading File:WWE-NXT-LOGO.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 04:13, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:XBLAGamePack.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:XBLAGamePack.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 07:40, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Toonsylvania.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Toonsylvania.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. I am a big fan of walking dead myself, but if you cannot find any articles or mentions in established sources, the album just simply may not be notable enough [yet] to have its own page. While Walking Dead should have a page without question, it's soundtrack disputably may not— feel free to add information about it to the Walking Dead page, possibly by creating a new section; nobody would object to that.JacobiJonesJr (talk) 10:35, 10 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Songs of Survival concern edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Songs of Survival, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Songs of Survival edit

Hello, Xyberdawg. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Songs of Survival".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Songs of Survival}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 04:00, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:WMHX channel1067.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:WMHX channel1067.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Marchjuly (talk) 02:25, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

The above-mentioned concerns also apply to the non-free use rationale provided for File:WCPP Coolpop 106.7FM Logo.jpg. - Marchjuly (talk) 02:25, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
