Please read this re SHOUTING. In any case, we already have Paris Hilton discography. Why do we need another article? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 06:49, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Free For Myspace

edit

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Free For Myspace has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:27, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Matthew dieu allen

edit

A tag has been placed on Matthew dieu allen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 21:54, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Mr.MisGuided requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Proposed deletion of Matthew Allen (actor)

edit

The article Matthew Allen (actor) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only bit parts and yet to be released films, no third party sources

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hairhorn (talk) 03:04, 10 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Matthew Allen (actor)

edit

A tag has been placed on the above page you created requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. It appears to be a repost of Matthew Dieu Allen, an article that has been previously deleted several times following the deletion process. This is because the subject fails the inclusion criteria.

Please also note that it is contrary to policy for editors to write articles about themselves or about other persons and/or subjects with which they are closely associated.

I have recommended that the deleting administrator salt any future attempts to create article(s) on this subject . Plutonium27 (talk) 07:14, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Creation of non-notable articles

edit

Wikipedia is not a vehicle for self-promotion. It must be clear to you by now that writing articles about people who do not meet our notability guidelines will always result in them being deleted. This has happened at least six times now, and every time it wastes other editors time. If you continue to do this, you may be blocked from editing. For help with writing an articles, you may want to read WP:FIRST, especially point 4. Thanks, Black Kite (t) (c) 08:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
