Possibly unfree Image:Alpacas Sillustani (pixinn.net).jpg edit

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Alpacas Sillustani (pixinn.net).jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. -SCEhardT 02:34, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
The other 4 images you uploaded have also been listed at WP:PUI -SCEhardT 02:37, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi !
I am the author of all these four pictures. If you go to my webpage at "http://voyages.pixinn.net/perou" you can read that all my pictures from South America are released under a Creative Commons CC-BY-ND 2.0 (see : "http://voyages.pixinn.net/perou/licence.htm"). As I know that this particular CC license is not compatible with Wikipedia, I reposted of these photos on Wikipedia using a CC-BY-SA 2.5 license.
In order to verify my identity and that I am the rightful author of these pictures, you can see that the versions Wikipedia are of higher resolution. So they were not copied from the website.
Therefore I think the four pictures don't pose any problem regarding their copyright status. If I am wrong, please let me know : I wouldn't like to see them deleted.
Best,
-XtoFT - "Christophe Meneboeuf"

Thanks for getting back to me about this! I've removed the PUI listings. To prevent future confusion, please add the following (or something similar) to each image:

This image was uploaded by its creator, Christophe Meneboeuf. ~~~~

Also, your website name will need to be removed from the images (see {{watermark}}). To replace an image, just upload the new image with the old filename and it will overwrite the old one. One final note - since usernames are case sensitive, there is a slight mistake in your signature since it points to User:xtof rather than User:XtoF. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! -SCEhardT 00:30, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK I didn't know about the watermark. I will remove it as soon as possible ! And thanks for the tip concerning the signature !

Disambiguation link notification for September 12 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Super Nintendo Entertainment System, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page DMA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message edit

Hello, XtoF. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
