Speedy deletion nomination of David No edit

A tag has been placed on David No requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at David No edit

Hi there Xstreamlee! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, David No. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD A7. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:David No, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Thanks - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:15, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Uh I have no idea what all this bleep bleep bleep codeish talk is. I just want to post a couple of articles on a couple of artists that are valuable in the entertainment industry and i have no idea why wikipedia would make it so not user friendly.

Basically, a user thinks that this page you created, has a subject which doesn't make a claim to notability (this is stuff like, newspaper reports, TV, written famous books, acted in famous films etc.)But by adding a hangon tag to the page, you are saying that you think it shouldn't be deleted. But you should have explained why you think it shouldn't be deleted by writing a message at Talk:David No. But there is no longer a need to, as another user has agreed that the page should remain, and has removed the deletion request. If you have any other questions, or that still doesn't make sense, just ask me again :). Cheers - Kingpin13 (talk) 09:56, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pictures edit

{{helpme}}

i want to be able to post photos and filmography?

Hi there!
  • When you leave messages on a talk page (like this), please "sign" your name at the end, by typing "~~~~". That will add your name, and the date/time.
  • Adding pictures is very easy; if they are your own, copyright-free images, just go to commons, and follow the instructions there to upload them.
  • Videos can be done in just the same way, but they need to be in the "ogg" format.
For more, see help:upload. For more help, you can either;
  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
Best wishes,  Chzz  ►  12:23, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
