Eyo Okpo-Ene, FNIM, (born 14th June 1962) is a Nigerian politician, and former Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Matters, Cross River State. He attended Government Primary School, Mayne Avenue, Calabar, Cross River State of Nigeria before proceeding to the University of Calabar, Calabar for his B.Sc. (Hons) in Political Science. Other educational institutions attended include; Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos-Nigeria (Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management - CEM) and Lagos Business School, Nigeria, (Certificate in Real Estate Development)

Professor Esu has held many key positions of responsibility where he exercised and showcased great leadership trait. As a Mentor, Coach, and Training Facilitator for youth, businessmen and Entrepreneurs; He facilitates for Tony Elumelu Foundation Mentor, South – South CBN Entrepreneurial development centre (EDC), NYSC Orientation Entrepreneurial Training, Youth Entrepreneurial Summit (YES), Nigerian Institute of Management Training Workshop (NIM) where provided his knowledge and experience to young people looking to go into business successfully. He spends some of his spare time in teaching, training, mentoring and coaching young people on entrepreneurship, leadership and social skills. He is a regular speaker at workshops and seminars including NCCF State Conferences since 2003 and other entrepreneurship workshops within and outside the state. During his active private sector days, Eyo Okpo-Ene would rather be known as an entrepreneur than as businessman.

Regardless of all of the above, Eyo, when asked to describe himself, he always says and I quote: “I am a minister of the gospel, an entrepreneur and a politician; in that order, seeking to make the society a better place, while striving for excellence”. Eyo Okpo-Ene is married to Dr. Atim Irene Okpo-Ene, a medical doctor and they are blessed with four children; Emmanuel, Joshua, Michael and Angel.
