January 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Cicchetti has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://the-wine-bars-of-venice.blogspot.com/ (matching the regex rule \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:29, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

October 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to McRib, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: McRib was changed by Xpicassox (u) (t) making a minor change adding "!!!" on 2010-10-27T06:32:43+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 06:32, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

July 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Italian-American cuisine do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here to Italian-American cuisine was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://nyfoodeedotcom.blogspot.com/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Italian-American cuisine. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. –BMRR (talk) 03:00, 3 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:"La TAVOLA" invaluable stories and info on "The Feast of The Seven Fish" Sunday Sauce, Meatballs, Italian-American Food and lifestyle.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:"La TAVOLA" invaluable stories and info on "The Feast of The Seven Fish" Sunday Sauce, Meatballs, Italian-American Food and lifestyle.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:25, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Linkspam edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Italian wine. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 04:13, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2012 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to The Big Lebowski. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. The Old JacobiteThe '45 01:14, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been sufficiently notified that your edits on Wikipedia are promotional. Consider this your final warning. The next time you add linkspam or promotional text, you will be blocked indefinitely as a promotion-only account. ~Amatulić (talk) 04:12, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

September 2012 edit

This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Aglio e olio, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Specifically, please stop flogging the printed products of Daniel Bellino Zwicke, who one can only assume is you, or your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/child/grandchild/whatever. Enough, already. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 01:40, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have received two final warnings. Enough is enough.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. ~Amatulić (talk) 02:31, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
