Final Project Article edit

Death -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death

IAH 209 Peer Review edit

This article is extremely informative and does a great job of covering a vast amount of information for such a broad topic. The article started out well and summed up the entire article with the line, “Death is an existential notion that refers to the end of the life. This is the particular point when the biological functions of a living being cease to operate completely.” This is a great line that really stuck with me throughout the rest of the reading. I think this would have also been a good opportunity to reference Stiff. Roach has some great examples of death that could potentially be referenced here, with some borderline examples that could be argued for life or death, like the beating heart cadaver. Your writing is extremely clear and professional, I would suggest making sure you are paraphrasing and the writing isn’t too close to the original writing of your sources. This is a very difficult process, and this is just your first draft so I am sure the writing will come along nicely by the time it is time to turn in the final draft. I don’t think the article needs too much more improvement beyond those couple of suggestions. The article is extremely informative and well researched. I don’t think anything in this article is applicable to my own article because we happen to have pretty different articles. However, reading this article definitely gave me better perspective on this course as a whole. Your article relates to the course very well, and it helped me cross reference some of the ideas, facts and concepts we have already learned. I was able to think back to some of the lectures, readings, short films, and excerpts from Stiff and compare and contrast. Overall, I would say this article is extremely well done, and I am looking forward to reading the final draft. Parmetaa (talk) 17:27, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
