Proposed deletion of The Bantalas edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Bantalas, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. triwbe (talk) 18:11, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of The Bantalas edit

I have nominated The Bantalas, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Bantalas. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? triwbe (talk) 18:27, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with The Bantalas. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --Evb-wiki (talk) 04:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with The Bantalas. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. --Evb-wiki (talk) 05:13, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome edit

Hello, Xesko, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

There is a page about the verifiability policy that explains the policy in greater detail, and another that offers tips on the proper ways of citing sources. If you are stuck and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  triwbe (talk) 05:26, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

August 2008 edit

Regarding your comments on Talk:The Bantalas: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. triwbe (talk) 15:45, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kindly don't insult another editor[1] (in this case a respected and experienced one who has contributed a lot to the project) just because he has made an edit you disagree with. Re. the amazing coincidence of you being User:Xesko and having the same birthday, occupation, and place of residence as Xesko, as discussed on Talk:Xesko, see WP:DUCK. Proposed deletion of Francisco Santos edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Francisco Santos, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process.

82.154.63.44 (talk) 15:17, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of Angolan painters edit

The article List of Angolan painters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

list of three, two of which are red links

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Closedmouth (talk) 10:22, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
