Tüting number edit

Hey, may I just inquire what your source of Tüting's number is? I've not found one yet. Madcynic (talk) 13:46, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Football transfers edit

Please note that football transfers currently being announced do not take affect until the transfer window opens on 1 July. Please do not update articles for these transfers until then. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 17:01, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's nothing but wrong. For Rostock, and also for many other clubs, the season started on pentecost, because of the early start of the 2nd Bundesliga into the 11/12 season. Since then every player of the 11/12 season's squad was training with Hansa Rostock and playing for them in friendly games as well. Hence there's no reason to wait for the first of July. Xantener (talk) 17:54, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Be that as it may, DFL regulations prevent the transfers from officially coming into effect until 1 July. Furthermore, several articles, Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid for example, have already been protected to prevent these types of edits. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:28, 26 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
That's not true as well. DFL regulations do not prevent transfers from coming into effect, but regulate a player's eligibility to play for a club in non-friendlies, which is something completely different. DFL simply can't decide if a player is an employee of a club, but labour law does - and these players are employees of Hansa Rostock since pentecost. Anyway, I will not participate in your rightless Edit warring, as 1 July is only 3 days away. Xantener (talk) 11:36, 27 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Zafer Yelen edit

About a 2 year old edit. [1] When updating the international stats, better use a reliable source as Yelen had 12 caps and 15 call-up, not 15 caps. Matthew_hk tc 11:35, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wow, such nit-picking on an edit that is 2 years old... that's great Tennis. Anyways... I don't need a reliable source, as the TFF-Website is the most reliable source available. My mistake was merely to think National Team Matches counts caps instead of call-ups. That's all. But thanks for your ‘kind’ advise. It's quite hilarious to critizise this while keeping the text untouched, but well... Xantener (talk) 00:32, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Kit body collarblue horizontalblue.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
