PROD on Apex Trader Funding

What are you looking for exactly? Hitting a $100m milestone is big.. apex trader funding being the leading company in prop firms deserves a spot in wikipedia.. does it sound promotional to you? are you a day trader? they provide funding and if you cannot trade then you fail evaluation. the second biggest prop firm is TopstepTrader with just $23m in payouts and they have a page and they're a 4th of the size.. Hi, I actually landed on this article from seeing recent changes, I don't have any particular involvement in the topic.

I agree that the $100m milestone is big, but my concern is specifically with the notability guidelines. A company can be big and pay out a lot of money, but that doesn't make it inherently notable, per WP:ORGSIG.

Even if the second biggest prop firm has an article, we evaluate each article on their own merit. If a bigger company doesn't have enough coverage to be notable, then being big is not enough on its own. The most important criteria is significant independent coverage in secondary reliable sources. I did quite a lot of research for the past month.. a lot of google searches "Apex Trader Funding" About 146,000 results.. "topstep trader" About 88,700 results.. site:youtube.com "apex trader funding" About 50,100 results... site:youtube.com "topstep trader" About 3,760 results.. even nasdaq shows a lot of articles..."apex trader funding nasdaq" since it seems like you're an expert at day trading maybe you can help me improve this article. I understand, but please note that these Google search results start with Youtube, Facebook, Reddit, various blogs. The thousands of Google results are mostly not going to be what Wikipedia considers reliable sources.

I'm definitely not an expert at day trading. Sorry if this is unwelcome, I know you've edited that article recently. I'm focusing only on notability, I can't speak personally about the company or about trading. Mlkj (talk) 00:37, 27 February 2024 (UTC)

I understand. Could you please clarify what specific information you are seeking? I will ensure to include it in the article. Trustpilot has accumulated over 5,000 reviews for Apex Trader Funding and approximately half as many for Topstep Trader. Although I cannot locate the source at the moment, it was previously reported that Apex Trader Funding, established in 2021, has a customer base of over 150,000.
