"Made of Matches" edit

Where were "Made of Matches" and "Deck the Halls" released? Where can I buy copies? How can I verify their release? How do they qualify for a discography? All I can find are promotional videos.—Kww(talk) 01:35, 17 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

reliable sources edit

Please read the policy on reliable sources. Anyone can post anything on youtub making it an inherently unreliable source. We look for sources that have an actual reputation for reliability and fact checking. Active Banana (bananaphone 18:47, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

YouTube is a hosting service, not a publisher. It aggregates many different publishers on one site. As such, it is not to be considered a reliable or unreliable source, but rather a neutral broker of information. The reliability of sources has to be made by determination of the publisher using YouTube. In this case, it is a news publisher giving an interview to the subject, and I believe that it can be judged a reliable source. That is, Debby Ryan is speaking about her own show and can be regarded as reliable for facts about that show. Elizium23 (talk) 03:19, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

August 2011 edit

Your addition to Jessie (TV series) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Use your own words. Geraldo Perez (talk) 00:45, 27 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The best way to avoid a copyright problem is to read the source, think about it for a bit and write down in your own words the key things you want in the article. Use the source as the reference for the information, just be careful not to do a copy and paste from the source. The information comes from the source, how you describe that information must be your own creation. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:14, 27 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
