Blenheim Palace

Hi, I’ve added a couple of cites to the Blenheim Palace article regarding the Blenheim Settled Estates Act 1880. I wonder if the legal database you’re using only records public law? The BSEA was a piece of private, civil legislation, paid for by the Duke of Marlborough in furtherance of his personal interests. All the best. KJP1 (talk) 14:53, 5 September 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for that. I was searching the National Archive's database of all UK legislation, which purports to include private and personal acts, and a search for "blenheim" in short titles across the full database returns only two results: the Blenheim Estate Act 1856 (a private act) and the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Central London to Blenheim Palace) Regulations 2018 (a statutory instument). That said, I understand that archives' online dataset for pre-1945 private and personal acts is incomplete so the absence is not concerning now that you've found decent sources. Cheers.
