WoywodtSince you don't have a user page I don't know if you will see this and other comments. I am a relatively new editor and have been through the mill moving an article from draft to mainspace. I have looked at your article and am not impressed. You don't have any references from reliable sources (or any references at all) what you have is a very short biography of someone who painted mostly landscapes and the world is full of those. (I am reminded of another landscape painter who fought in WWWI, this one was born in Austria). You need some mention of him in some respectable source, a book, a magazine, review by art critics. You are fortunate in that the editors who have declined your article actually gave you sensible and understandable reasons, and even pointed you towards sources within wikipedia that can help you. A big improvement over the way I was treated once, when I was told simply that my submission was contrary to the purposes of Wikipedia, with out the courtesy of an explanation as to how or why. You even have one comment that your subject is possibly notable, and that is a step up, now for you to prove it. Lots of LuckOldperson (talk) 19:36, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
