Wikipedia is an encyclopedia which people use to gain knowledge. People come here to learn about any topic they wnbt to. I am an intelligent person. If given the opportunity, i would edit, write, and create many articles on College athletics. I love watching college athletics and have a near encyclopedic knowledge of them. If given the opportunity I would improve many sports articles like for example a coach's record, i would edit their page to show how many games they've won. This site uses a lot of statistics. One I learned how to do the tables, i would make and organize abunch of stats. I definately believe that the sports section of Wikipedia could use a guy like me. if you give me another chance, I will not let you down :).

I really want another chance. I know you question my desire but I do WANT to be here. I WANT to contribute. I WANT to teach through editing. Give me the chance. You will be missing out on someone who is eager to learn and who has a tremendous knowledge of sports if you do not. Put aside the skepticism and cynicism and see that I actually want to contribute to this encyclopedia. Please oh please

I will change my username and refrain from all unconstructive behavior. I want to contribute. I understand what i did was wrong. I was immature. But this block taught me that there are consequences for my actions. Also knowing that I did do something wrong and that I must pay the consequences for my actions I wonder can a deal be made where I serve a block, but after the block I can contribute and show you guys I am taking this seriously? I understand why you would block me. i should not have done it in the first place. And I apologize. If given another chance, i will do what I can to positively contribute to Wikipedia. Surely we can have some sort of compromise? Note: Also, after I wrote this appeal I have spent several hours thinking of why I was blocked, what I can do to contribute, and why I can in fact redeem myself. I have a lot to offer. I think that you can go look at Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area/Adopters and ask one of those folks to be adopted. What I will demonstrate right here while I am waiting for my appeal are examples of what I would do, what I need help with etc.

Now see the team sections all the way below? Like all the team scores? I would add what conferences each team belonged too. I also would have a source to back it up- the ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia. I want to know how exactly to add the conferences tot he page and how exactly to implent this for every tournament since 1985- the first year of the 64-team field.

I just did the entire leagie and editing that was a blast. I would love to do things like this all over sports articles. I knew that wprds alone could never prove why I want to be here and why you should give me another chance. Showing you... in other words ACTIONS are what speak the loudest. i may be blocked... but I feel accomplished doing this :)

The 1995 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament involved 64 schools playing in single-elimination play to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 16, 1995, and ended with the championship game on April 3 at the Kingdome in Seattle, Washington. A total of 63 games were played. UCLA, coached by Jim Harrick, won its record 11th NCAA Men's Basketball Championship and its first since the John Wooden era by defeating the University of Arkansas, who came up one game short in their bid to repeat as champions.

A final shot in the second round at The Boise State Pavilion is one of the most memorable moments in NCAA history. UCLA's Tyus Edney dashed the length of the 94-foot court in just over 4 seconds to make a layup that gave the Bruins a 75-74 win over Missouri, which sustained UCLA's run to a national title that year.^[1]

Looking at my case from 3 POV's

I have had alot of time to think about my actions. Thinking of my actions and trying to make a case for me being unblocked I have compiled 5 reasons for why I should stay blocked and 5 reasons for why I should be unblocked

Why I should stay Blocked

1. My first edit was unconstructive. MY username also is inappropiate 2. At first I ssemed insincere about my blocking 3. The content of my sand box. I made several terrible pornographic references and acted like a dumb kid. 4. I clearly stated that i intended to vandalize my Sandbox and this raised the red flags about me. 5. I talked to a random user which seems to show intent of vandlaism/causing trouble

Why I should be unblocked

1. I showed what exactly I would do if unblocked 2. I admited to my mistakes 3. I expressed remorse for my actions and Ialso offered a compromise of staying blocked but coming back eventually 4. i expressed the desire to be tutored bya veteran editor who could help me out more. 5. I have a willingness to learn and I believe I can be a great editor if given the opportunity

Ultimately it is up to the admins. But I understand my actions, why my actions created the consequences they did. I have used my time to show what I would do and have also expressed a willingness to learn and an understanding of why I got blocked. ADmins if need be, I would be more then willing to change my name and more then willing to serve some type of punishment. After all I did do the crime so I should do the time.

Having problems putting the username I want in the template

I am having extreme problems witht he template so the name I want is NCAA basketball is terrific

The request looks fine, and you are now unblocked. The last step is for you to request the actual name change at Wikipedia:Changing username, and then wait for it to be done - it should really only be a formality, but only a bureaucrat can do the actual renaming. Hi, the image 1995FinalFour.gif was higher up on this page. Per Wikipedia's policies on non-free files, copyrighted images like 1995FinalFour.gif can only be in the article space.
