Would be real nice to have some references for Mark Andrew James, if you can find some. BTW, that's not you, is it? :) Thanks. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 14:34, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry for placing a proposition for deletion on on Mark Andrew James, that was far out of line for me to do and was completly unacceptable. I only hope, you can accept my sincerest appologies for my rash behavior. Thank you, and again I am extremly sorry for my rude actions. Yanksox 14:36, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I renominated for speedy deletion per WP:CSD criterion A8. This is copyrighted content and is unacceptable for Wikipedia. If you wish to do so, you may rewrite the article after it is deleted from scratch, without using any copyrighted text. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 14:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
So you're saying SSO is nonprofit? OK, I will do something about that right now. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 14:52, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sussex Symphony Orchestra

edit

Hi - I removed your signature from the article as we only sign talk page edits. I'm afraid as you are involved with the orchestra you shouldn't edit the page as per WP:AUTO - this rule is to prevent vanity articles being started. If you point me in the direction of links I've missed I'll happily do the edit for you as I think it's a great orchestra and always enjoy the concerts I attend - either as audience or choir member! Look, Andy, the point is not to give you "grief" as you said to Yanksox. This is an encyclopedia with few rules, but what we have are very important. Your conductor is notable and includable - but you cannot violate copyright law in the process. Now, I think you've done just that, but I understand your objections, and we are submitting this matter to the judgment of the learned administrators. Understand though, that even if this doesn't go speedily, b/c not a commercial provider, as you hold, it will definitely be deleted the long way, b/c even non-commercial providers' copyrights are respected here. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 16:00, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
All of this is not to discourage you from writing good sourced articles for Wikipedia - just not ones that borrow copyrighted text from elsewhere. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 16:03, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Of course you can make changes. As long as it cannot be viewed as "self-promotion". Correction errors etc. is fine. As to your "request", I can't and won't "remove your contributions". If they're kept, I would be quite happy. Let a sysop decide whether or not this must be deleted. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 16:40, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
