License tagging for Image:10 0 saxe coburg Franz Freidrich Anton-1-.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:10 0 saxe coburg Franz Freidrich Anton-1-.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Welcome. Insert something (one sentence?) on your user page so that your name won't appear red to everyone. Sign your name on talk pages with four swung dashes. Tony 03:30, 26 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:1099594_townsend2-1-.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Images on Butterfly kick

edit

Hello, I would like to ask why the images on the Butterfly kick article keep being removed by you. No explanation has even been given on either the Talk:Butterfly kick or in the edit summary on the history page. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I would like to know your reasoning for the images to be removed. This has happened five times in the past year and each time has been without any reason giving and one time include inserting some comments that could be construed as a rude personal attack on the person in the pictures. Please respond. (Guyinblack25 14:29, 19 March 2007 (UTC))Reply

Let's not go the personal attack suspicion way. It seems clear to me that the technique was criticized and this is a valid thing to do. However I myself am of the opinion that the current pictures are vastly more informative than no pictures at all. Wonphi, please don't remove the pictures anymore without further discussion, and if you come to discuss, it would be good to have some graphics which you could propose to use instead of the current ones. Then you might have a chance. --MarSch 15:55, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, unfortuneatly yes I was deleting the pictures, and yes the technique is TOTALLY incorrect. But i agree that pictures of bad technique is better than no pics at all. Any I had no idea I could discuss this situation like this ( still learning how to use wiki). Any way I have found out that my previous account cannot be logged in any more? Did someone ban me or something. If I may I WANT MY OLD ACCOUNT BACK! Yes, I will stop deleting the pictures, but don't get angry about it if I delete those mediocre pictures with one that contains PROPER technique.

Anyway, talk to you soon.

give my old account back!

welcome

Hi; I have no idea what has happened to your password. You currently do not have e-mail enabled, but if you go to the top of the page and look in "preferences" you can enable it. Wiki will then be able, on request, to send what they have recorded as your passwaord. I have checked your account, and there is no block on it. Passwords are case-sensitive - could you have been in upper/lower case and not noticed?--Anthony.bradbury 11:39, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
