Prince William County, Virginia

edit

I undid your change to the Prince William County, Virginia article for a couple of reasons. One is that you said that the info about the county seat is incorrect. However, the National Association of Counties page at http://www.uscounties.org/cffiles_web/counties/county.cfm?id=51153 agrees that Manassas is the county seat for Prince William County. We can change this if that's incorrect, but there must be a reliable source that explains what the new county seat is. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! —Tim Pierce (talk) 16:44, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Prince William County, Virginia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —Tim Pierce (talk) 02:12, 21 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi - Thanks for finally acknowledging the warnings. :-) Wikipedia articles must be based on verifiable information -- in other words, everything in an article should be backed up by a reliable source that another editor could confirm. You've said that Manassas is not the county seat for Prince William County; however, there are reliable sources [1] [2] that say that it is. If that source is incorrect and Manassas is no longer the county seat, is there a record of that change that we can cite for the article? —Tim Pierce (talk) 13:59, 21 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
