Wm.Tarr
Welcome Wm.Tarr!
I'm Scope creep, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}}

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Edit Waring
editIf you have a dispute about the content, instead of reverting over and over again, leave it at the version before the dispute and talk about it on the talk page, also, please stop your WP:Personal attacks. LakesideMinersMy Talk Page 15:18, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
editHello, I'm Aboideau. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Kaffir lime have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. aboideautalk 15:24, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as User talk:Aboideau are for discussion related to improving the encyclopedia in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:50, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Personal attacks
editIn this public edit you have accused me of being an innate racist. You asked for help with the mess you were making ("I have probably gone about this wrong, help me, please.") and removing the three unreferenced edits you had made was the best way to restore the page to its currently agreed content ("reverted recent changes as requested"). You also referred to an automated editor (robot) as a "fuckwith" on your edit summary after it removed an unreferenced change you made on that page. While I don't care what the page is called, I realise you have an issue with it, as have several people in the past. Read the article's talk page to see what's been decided by other people before attempting to edit further. It seems that you don't understand how to edit on Wikipedia, so you might want to visit Help:Contents before doing anything more. Bazza (talk) 15:24, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Final warning
editHi, I'm sorry to interrupt you with your work, but you'll need to stop attacking other editors. Other users' next steps would else likely be requesting administrative intervention at WP:ANI, or a direct block by a watching administrator, whichever happens first. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:58, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Suggestion
editHi Wm.Tarr, I noticed that you left a message on my talk page.
Frankly, I have no opinion on the content that you were suggesting, and I'm not really interested in it -- the only reason I reverted your edit is because proposals belong on the talk page, not in the article body.
However, you are coming across as extremely confrontational, both in your edit summaries and on my talk page. One of Wikipedia's five pillars is civility, and it's really a bad idea to call other editors things like piece of shit
and fuckwith
[sic]. If I were you, I'd try to dial it down a little and try to discuss things on the talk page instead of edit warring with other editors about it.
I do realise that it's frustrating when other editors disagree with you. It's necessary to stay cool, however; you're heading straight for getting blocked right now. aboideautalk 16:02, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
