As reviewing administrator, I am going to need to do some rewriting. We do not copy from the journal page all the fields a journal says it publishes--these are typically a meaningless promotional listing of everything possible. We normally report the latest impact factor (and anything really significant, but not year to year changes. What we do include & need here is a list of editors in chief since the beginning. In the past, detailed listings of special issues have been challenged--they have usually not been accepted--tis is indexing information, and belongs on their website. I can think of some journals where they might be relevant, but just the bare external link listing is a violation of WP:EL, and I have removed it. We also normally include only the major international indexing services that are in the field of the journal. I've trimmed the list in the usual way

I understand it is the current view that in information science, h-values of journals are widely considered meaningless and I will discuss this at the talk page for the Wikiproject on academic journals (WT:WikiProject Academic Journals) in a few days. I'd normally remove such data, but I'm going to leave it here as an example for discussion. here--it was never intended as a device for ranking other than individual authors.

Please try to follow our style. The MOS is rather complicated, but one thing we avoid is bold face,especially bold face italics, except in the unique case of the first sentence of an article where it repeats the name of the subject--which, if it's a journal, will be in italics. (And, similarly, we don't make redirects to something that just redirects to the same article This applies also to the academic bios you are doing--it's good to do them; being editor in chief of a major journal is demonstration of notability for the purposes of WP - -see WP:PROF DGG ( talk ) 14:58, 10 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

This edit introduced the claim that "mutual information function has an exact relationship with the correlation function   for binary sequences". Can you elaborate? I do not have access to the cited source.

Although I can have made a mistake, by calculating and plotting pairs of correlation measures against each other for two binary variables for numerous contingency tables, there seems to be no direct relationship between the mutual information and the correlation function above or with the Pearson correlation coefficient (although the value of one often implies a bound on the value of another). —Quondum 01:57, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
