Reason for reverting your edits

edit

The reason that I reverted your edits to XBOX 720 is that your edits were conversational in nature, and involved commenting on the accuracy of the article. The best place to leave these comments is on the article's Talk page, which is designed for discussions of topics such as what you added. This is especially important because of the fact that this article has been nominated for deletion, so people may already be discussing the issue. I sincerely apologize if the warning I issued when reverting your edits seemed overbearing, but they are designed to draw your attention to issues with edits. I appreciate your taking the time to ask for input, however, since it shows a willingness to learn and move forward. Thanks! Windchaser (talk) 02:21, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Generally, speaking, no. You'll get warned a few times before you get in any trouble.

Unless, of course, you go back to doing stuff like this. If you actually plan to be helpful, knock yourself out. Look through here, to see what is and isn't allowed. And to sign your messages, put this at the end of your posts ~~~~, instead of 'signing' them. HalfShadow 03:52, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Koffee kate's

edit

A tag has been placed on Koffee kate's requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 02:43, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

February 2010

edit

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to XBOX 720. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Boomshadow talk contribs 04:30, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

When you're talking about it costing $547,100, It's vandalism. Boomshadow talk contribs 04:34, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Secondly, the product is not even out yet! It's just speculation. How can you know the price of a product not even launched?! --Tyw7  (Talk • Contributions)   Changing the world one edit at a time! 04:41, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Either way, you are going to get a warning. If I were you Boomshadow, I'll smack his edit with failure to cite a verifiable source.--Tyw7  (Talk • Contributions)   Changing the world one edit at a time! 04:47, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Tyw7 has a very good point. Citing sources is a good thing. Sorry about the whole period/comma thing. Boomshadow talk contribs 04:56, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

FIrst of all, the article is about a speculated products. How many of these products actually makes it to the market? I could say Apple is planning an Iphone with a Intel Atom processor. There are many product speculation out there! Second, how in the world can you tell how much an XBOX 720, a product not even on the market yet, cost $525??? --Tyw7  (Talk • Contributions)   Changing the world one edit at a time! 05:04, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Witeink

edit

Hi Witeink. I noticed you created an RfA page some time ago. I was wondering as to what the status of that RfA might be. Please let me know if you still intend to run for adminship with that RfA; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete it for you in about a week or so from today.
