Purfleet F.C.

edit

Hi,

Sorry if I deleted/changed anything you already edited. I just went by the squad list on the official site. Good to see someone who actually knows about the club keeping it up to date, I've always tried to watch over it.

If you've got any questions, I'll be happy to try and help.

Reply - Loving the Purfleet tag, the true name of the mighty fleet. It really bemuses our current squad when we shout out "Come on Fleet" (or similar) as none of them have any idea how that relates to Thurrock

Reply - Mighty Fleet? That's questionable ;-) Jimbo[online] 22:51, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Player appearances

edit

Hi, I was just wondering if you had any appearance data on Matt Bodkin and Sam Sloma so I could update their infoboxes? If not, don't worry. --Jimbo[online] 23:56, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reply - I haven't got any appearance data. The team pages at www.ConfSouth.co.uk have always seemed accurate so you could try using those. Winston Smiff (talk) 06:20, 23 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lee Hodges

edit

You're quite possibly right. I was just tidying up a previous edit that said he'd retired. ArtVandelay13 (talk) 13:23, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dave Hogan

edit

Hi, do you know if Hogan was only on loan from Dagenham or signed on non-contract/permanent deal? Cheers --Jimbo[online] 17:20, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reply - He played one game when our regular goalkeeper was suspended after a red card. The Thurrock official website says he signed for us but I can only think that it is dual registration for just in case. I haven't seen him around the ground since.

Speedy deletion nomination of Kita & the Hat

edit

A tag has been placed on Kita & the Hat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -Zeus-u|c 23:40, 16 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Craig Dobson

edit

Hiya,

Re [1] you might want to take a look at Craig Dobson, which contains quite a bit of detail about "his" Thurrock career..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:21, 19 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I added that. The picture on the Thurrock website is definately the ex-Stevenage player. --Jimbo[online] 10:50, 19 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Reply - I stand corrected then. He doesn't look Jamaican but the height is about right. I did look at Craig Dobson when I was updating the current squad information and thought they were namesakes only.--Winston Smiff (talk) 12:49, 19 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
