I deleted the page because it was intensely promotional in nature; it was written in a style which seemed to convey only that you wanted people to buy the book buy the book buy the book. And you had left it, and all of Wikipedia, untouched for a month -- I had no way of knowing that you hadn't just dropped a piece of spam on our database and then wandered off forever. (And, in fact, it took you over a month to notice it was gone?)
