Hi...nice catch on that movie article, but it's a hoax as well as a copyright violation. I've left a warning on the guy's talk page. Welcome to the club! - Lucky 6.9 21:53, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Well. After that recent bout of vandalism on my user page, I feel like I should thank you for reverting it (and reverting it again, and again...) for me. You are truly very Wiki-nice, er, something. So thank you! --Dmcdevit 04:06, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

STOP
Please stop editing my edits as User:198.30.56.124 This is my IP address, and i was simply trying to further my edits, however your actions resulted in the page being blanked through a wikipedia glitch. LAY THE **** OFF!!!!!!!!!! This is not the first time that you have done this to me, and you are really starting to get on my LAST ****ING NERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! And please stop using TWINKLE -- it doesn't work.
Thank you --Srwm4 22:43, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'd appreciate that if you want to criticise my reversion, you would do so constructively and without swearing. As it is, I stand by my reversion of your edit, which can be seen here. Will 22:47, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Again, one of my edits has been blanked by your update.
- RE:re:Your comments
- I would point you to the fact that Wikipedia is NOT CENSORED! I believe that asking you to stop is constructive, and that your reverts ignore the fact that I have significigantly improved the U.S. Energy Independence article. As I explained earlier, your revert caused my edit to be a blank, which I origionally intreperted as a frozen computer.
- I would very much like to point out that I didn't make the original revert which you say led you to the blanking which I did revert. I have also not reverted any more of your edits since. Please check the page history if you don't believe me. And as I said before, a bit of politeness never harmed anyone. Will 23:01, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, you have given me no reason to be polite. --Srwm4 23:08, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well I'm sorry if that's how you feel. As I have said, and I will say again, the only edit of yours that I reverted was the one that blanked the article and replaced it with "yippees energy independandeekjsfdhnkjdnjfh!". I hope you can see why I would do this. As for your future efforts, I wholeheartedly agree that Wikipedia is not censored and wish you all the best in your continuing efforts to improve U.S. Energy Independence. talk pages
A suggestion from an experienced RC patroller: when you revert vandalism, it's often helpful if you leave a note on the talk page of the user you reverted about the revert. Not only does this sometimes help to get vandals to stop vandalizing, but it helps the rest of us who do RC and vandal patrol to more quickly spot who has been warned already, escalate the warnings, and eventually block problem vandals. If you revert for content reasons (e.g. not NPOV), you should almost always leave a note on the article talk page explaining why you think the content you reverted was inappropriate; this helps to forestall edit wars. I see that you're doing some of this already, so I'm just asking you to be more religious about it. Keep up the good work! Kelly Martin 16:17, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)
- Don't worry about getting every edit. There are lots of people doing vandalism patrol; any edits you miss someone else will get. Better to take the time to do it right. Kelly Martin 16:22, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)
- You should leave {{test1}} or an equivalent on any inappropriate edit. {{test1}} is a pretty mild template. Escalate to the higher templates if the individual does not quit. (You can also create your own templates; I have a few I use in my user space.) Don't use {{test5}} unless you know that the individual is blocked, though. If you get to {{test3}}, you should also list the individual on WP:VIP to bring the situation to the attention of an administrator.
- See Wikipedia:Template_messages/User_talk_namespace for the full list of standard user talk templates. Also, when including a user talk template, it's best to always use "subst:" so that it's less obvious to the user that you're using boilerplate. Kelly Martin 16:32, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)
_____ I don't know if I am doing the correct thing here. I saw the message were you reverted changed info from my IP. I believe we have a static IP and as a parent I am concerned. We had a group of teens here doing a school project and if they are breaking our trust and abuseing the internet I want to know about it. Is there any way for me to see the text that was posted from my IP? Thank you.
Subst:'ing speedy deletion notices
Please do not subst: speedy deletion notices, as it's annoying (it causes the page to go over the threshold for autofilling the delete reason box with "content was:" and the content). --cesarb 29 June 2005 22:07 (UTC)

Nice catch on the copyvio (you got in about thirty seconds before I did), but you pointed to some generic Korean dude who, for some reason, was mirroring Sea World's page on killer whales, instead of to Sea World itself. Careful next time - especially if there's already a copyright notice at the bottom pointing you in the right direction. DS July 1, 2005 13:43 (UTC)
RC patrolling
Great job with the RC patrolling but stop beating me to the revert. :) BJTalk 21:35, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism on my user page
Thank you very much for reverting repeated vandalism on my talk page by User:67.80.33.68, I really appreciate it. I also liked the idea that you gave 67.80.33.68 many warnings for vandalizing my page. Amos Han 21:51, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
So Sorry for accidentally blocking you
I managed to block you instead of the anon you were reverting, then I tried to apologise and the database was locked. I am such a twit. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 22:48, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
