Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:M 4b68975cf8d6af0a0bebbaec7a37bf90-1-.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Fair use rationale for Image:Jim Bailey Now.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Jim Bailey Now.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Duplicate Image:Jim barbra .jpg edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Jim barbra .jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Jim barbra .jpg is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Jim barbra .jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. License tagging for Image:JIM BAILEY ON HERES LUCY.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:JIM BAILEY ON HERES LUCY.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Jim Bailey (entertainer) edit

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I've done an overhaul on this article. Let me know if there are any problems. GlassCobra 02:10, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}}

Thank-you soooo much for helping .....youre a godsend.... Do you think its ok now...can you just change female impersonator to impressionist or anything else... its conotation is something tacky when he's a fine singer and actor .

Also i'm hoping we did the photos correctly...Jim bailey owns copyrights.
{{helpme}} is a call for help in general; if you want to contact GlassCobra in particular, you can do that by editing User talk:GlassCobra. If you do want to ask for help in general, just put {{helpme}} back up. --ais523 19:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

It may sound tacky to you, but in the interests of clarity and straightforwardness, I think we should leave it at female impersonator. User:Orangemike and I have cleaned up the article further. There do indeed seem to be some issues with your images; I believe you've tagged most or all of them as self-made, which is more than likely not true. Even if the images were made by Bailey himself, the self-made tag would still be inappropriate, as you are not Bailey; however, I doubt that even Bailey making the images is the case. The album covers in particular probably have to be claimed as fair use, as there is likely a copyright held by the studio that distributed the album. As I advised you on the help desk, it is highly discouraged for you to be editing Jim Bailey's article. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. GlassCobra 20:54, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you are an agent for Bailey, and intend to put these images in the public domain, please upload these images to Wikipedia Commons: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. Otherwise, please refrain from uploading such images. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 21:34, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
